foods you should eat
There are a few things that should definitely have a place in
your diet. They're packed with
antioxidants, which help your
immune system, eyes and mind. Also, you have less of a risk
of heart disease and certain types of cancer. It's easy to eat
antioxidant-rich foods because they are also delicious. So
what are they?

The list includes blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, red
delicious, gala and Granny Smith apples, cherries, pecans,
walnuts, black beans, plums, blackberries, artichokes,
cranberries and russet potatoes.

Simple ideas to add these foods to your diet:
* The next time you make a salad, add some pecans or
walnuts and strawberries to it. Even better? Toast the nuts
before adding them by placing them on a cookie sheet in the
oven.
* Make a fruit smoothie. Combine a banana, blueberries,
strawberries and raspberries with yogurt and orange juice
and blend for a refreshing smoothie.
* Add home fries to your breakfast menu. Wash and slice
potatoes and add olive oil and onions to frying pan. Let
brown and then add the russet potatoes. Cook until brown.
* Impress guests with a delicious pasta dish. In olive oil, cook
red onion and garlic. Add sliced roasted red peppers,
quartered artichoke hearts, Greek black olives [cut around
pits or get pit-less] and toasted pine nuts. Serve over pasta.
