FEATURED WORK-OUTS
SIMPLE LUNGE
Stand with your feet together, toes
pointing forward and place your hands on
your hips (or you can hold dumbells at
your sides. Tighten your abs and keep
your shoulders back. Take a giant step
forward and sink as low as you can while
keeping your
front knee over your toes.
Switch legs and repeat. Do three sets of
10-15 reps, three to four times a week.
AB-STRENGTHENING EXERCISE BALL CRUNCH
Sitting on an exercise ball, walk your feel forward until supported on
the ball from the shoulder blades to hips, knees bent, feet flat on
the floor and aligned with ankles, with your butt contracted. Cross
your arms over your chest and lengthen spine so your body is
parallel to the floor. Tighten butt, then, using abs, curl head, neck
and shoulder blades off ball. Lower torso to repeat for a minute.
Focus on good form, not the number because a crunch done
correctly is worth more than ten with poor form.

having a friend work out with you, you're extra motivated
because you don't want to let her down either and you will
have someone to work out with. Just make sure you
choose a girlfriend (
not your man) and don't compete with
each other, just support and motivate one another.
