The boutique was started by Chara and features cute nature-inspired shirts, hip bags, floral belts (above left) and Asian-inspired lavender eye pillows (above right). "I have pretty much created throughout my whole life. I put together variety shows and parades at a young age and sold my drawings to neighbors for a dime," says Chara. "I also used to make some of my own clothes, accessories and stuff for my bedroom. Part of that creation were my creative desires and part of it was my being a frugal spender. My career aspiration was to be a contemporary art curator. Then I decided I wanted to create or at least be more hands-on. My ideas come to me throughout a day and could be inspired by something I saw in a magazine or in a film or from a line in a song or from a piece of art at an exhibition.
